China Xinjiang International Dance Festival scheduled for Ju

BEIJING, May 24 (Xinhua) -- The fifth China Xinjiang International Dance Festival will be held in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from July 20 to August 5.

With the theme "Chinese dream, colorful Silk Road," the festival will be an artistic gala of dance from both home and abroad, said Erkin Tuniyaz, vice chairman of the regional government, on Wednesday.

The festival will present more than 60 performances by art groups from Pakistan, Egypt, Russia and other countries in Asia, Africa and Europe, as well as domestic groups, including groups from Xinjiang.
